Firmware Engineer


6SensorLabs is seeking an experienced Firmware Developer to connect our highly innovative consumer health product to mobile devices. Job duties could include:

  • embedded system development
  • hands-on coding
  • device bring up and validation

Expectations:

This is a contract based position.

Details:

  • Location: Lemnos Labs offices in San Francisco
  • Requirements: Degree in Computer Science or similar
  • Preferred: 1-3 years experience working with embedded C, C++, Bluetooh 4.0 (LE), and other embedded technologies
  • Compensation: A compensation package (salary and equity) will be discussed in the interview depending on skill set and previous work experience. Responsibilities and compensation will be scaled appropriately for past experience.

6SensorLabs is developing breakthrough consumer products to transforms the lives of people with food allergies. Our first product is a portable sensor for consumers with gluten allergies, allowing them to test their food for gluten anywhere, at any time.

Our team was born out of MIT and is backed by Silicon Valley’s premiere Hardware Incubator, Lemnos Labs. This position offers the opportunity to lead the firmware development of our highly innovative consumer health product, be surrounded by top advisors and mentors in San Francisco, and work directly with the founding team.
