At 6SensorLabs we’re developing life-changing products, enabling people with food allergies to trust their food. We offer you a unique opportunity to join an early stage, venture-backed startup with huge social impact potential. Our founding team members met at MIT and bonded over a passion to help people live healthier and happier lives, and moved to San Francisco to make that happen.
We're seeking self-motivated individuals who are passionate about the mission of our company, and thrive with the demands of an early stage startup. Translation: you dream big, you work hard, and you have a really great attitude.
We have a vision to build the number 1 go-to destination for anyone who cares about the safety and quality of their food. Imagine a Yelp for allergen-free, or gluten free, or organic, etc., and then imagine something 10x better than that. That's what we're building. That's why we need you.
We're looking to jump-start our mobile development, and to hire the engineer that will lead that development effort. You'll collaborate closely with in-house and contract designers, the exec team, and web developers to help refine our vision and turn it into a reality.

- Experience with sourcing and integrating relevant 3rd party APIs
- Interest in creating apps with useful and informative social interactions
- Passion for quality and creating delightful user experiences
- Amazing cross-functional and proactive communicator
Your Role:
- Own the full iOS development and launch, including managing the schedule, budget, and resources of the iOS team
- Potential to hire and manage a larger iOS team in the future
- Interface with 6SensorLabs’ web developers, and ensure clean and streamlined performance across platforms
- Have a feel for visual and interaction design, and work with Creative to implement our product vision
- Create reusable components with elegant, intuitive API interfaces
- Seamlessly sync the iOS app with our hardware via Bluetooth LE
